As we choose the wood very carefully from sustainable forests we achieve a unique effect for each bench as the natural cracks and knotholes are part of the decoration that add so much character.

As we use thick wood for our benches, naturally the wood will expand and contract with changes in humidity and the seasons as the wood breathes. This is part of the character of the wood and the movement will create natural lines and cracks over time.

Our strong, magnificent, and original oak outdoor bespoke furniture is perfect all year round! Made from solid oak, our benches are also impregnated and oiled, which gives them protection from UV light, fungus, and dampness.

Please Note. As these products are created using very thick natural wood, please be aware that cracks and splits will appear due to weather changes. As oak dries out it shrinks across the grain and splits. Equally, as moisture gets into oak, then it will swell and crack. This is totally normal and nothing to worry about. It will not affect the quality or structure of the product.
